Several members of the staff have attended training programmes in Austria, Australia, Denmark, UK and the USA. This has helped to keep the centre abreast of progress in technology and habilation.

Regular 'Staff Skills Development' workshops are conducted in AURED by highly reputed professionals from various countries.

AURED is partnering a training course with Cochlear & AYJ in Auditory Verbal Therapy. The trainees come in for observation of therapy sessions as well as to conduct their practical sessions, supervised and graded by the staff of AURED. The director of AURED is on the teaching faculty as well.

Teacher trainees from Shikshaa, attend therapy sessions at AURED, for a period of 2 months annually to sensitize them to the needs of children with hearing impairment. This is to promote inclusive education and it's management.

Ms Usha Dalvi from AYJ who is doing her PhD, is collecting data for her thesis based on assessments which will be carried out on integrated students, many of which are from AURED.

AURED has invited Dr.Morag Clark (MBE) once gain, to conduct a staff skills development training programme in the second week of Jun'10

The Annual Parent get-together will take place in the 17th of April at 10 am. All students- past and present, along with their parents, are invited.
